What is a11y?
If you’re wondering what a11y stands for, it represents the word “accessibility”. There are 11 characters between the first and last letter of accessibility so it’s common in the accessibility community to shorten it to a11y. And usually instead of saying “a eleven y”, most people say “alley”. This is similar to the use of i18n for internationalization and l10n for localization within the software translation community.
Good to know…sticking with “508″ however.
Good luck on continuing work with IA2.
